It slows the growth of certain types of breast tumors that need estrogen to grow in the body. Letrozole is used to treat breast and uterus cancer after menopause It is often given to women who have been taking tamoxifen (Nolvadex, Soltamox) for 5 years.

Generic Desogen is used for preventing pregnancy.

Generic Estrace is used for treating conditions due to menopause (eg, hot flashes; vaginal itching, burning, or dryness), treating vulval or vaginal atrophy, and preventing osteoporosis (brittle bones). It is also used for estrogen replacement therapy after failure of the ovaries and to relieve the symptoms of breast cancer.

Generic Kisqali (ribociclib) is a cancer medicine that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. It is used to treat hormone-related breast cancer in women.
